Since the release of Arena for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, there has always been that idea of evolving into an e-sport competition. Incase you are unfamiliar with the e-sports scene and what this really means, it is basically a name given for both computer and console games that have a high competition level in tournaments play, both online and LAN. Some popular games which have evolved into big e-sports consist of; Counter-Strike, Halo series, Quake DM, Unreal Tournament, Starcraft, Warcraft III, and so on. As you may notice, all of these games are either First Persona Shooters (FPS) or Real Time Strategy (RTS) games. WoW is neither of these formats; rather it is considered a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). So the idea of it being a legit e-sports game has been in question. But just like e-sports has evolved over the years, why not evolve even more and add such a series of games. Not to mention, the Arena play of WoW is more fast paced like an FPS game and this section of the game may not be considered an MMORPG, but instead a mix of FPS and a Fighting game. After a revamp and a small tweak, Eyonix delivers the latest version of the new priest talent, Focused Will, on this Halloween morning:

Feedback was read, gathered and the designers are fully aware of all that you’ve provided. As a result, we’re making an adjustment to the talent so instead of seeing this morning’s version of focused will in the next PTR push, you’ll see:

“After taking a critical hit you gain the Focused Will effect, reducing all damage taken by 1/3/5% and increasing healing effects on you by 4/7/10% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.” -Eyonix

First of all, for those thinking that the start of Season 3 will coincide with Patch 2.3 going live, Bornakk says that it might not necessarily be the case. No date has been annouced but they will still give a two week notice prior to the start of Season 3.

Patch 2.3 is shaping up to be quite big one, with changes seemingly being added daily. Undaunted by the growing list of issues, the devs are still tweaking away.
