42 up

46 down

The best idea here is to kill the warlock pet, if you can do so. Running spell penetration of upwards of 125 on your mage, as well as 40-50 on your warlock makes it possible, although Void Star Talismans pretty much nullify the strategy. Keep tongues up on the warlock and try to spellsteal or dispel Fel Domination, otherwise you'll have to kill it twice. If you can do this, you're either going to burst the warlock or run their druid out of mana, pretty much gauranteed. Start with 3 cyclones followed by 3 fears on the hunter, and ignore their druid except for counterspelling casted spells: cyclone, regrowth, etc. Curse of Elements Felhunters, and kill hunter pets if no other targets present themselves.

If you don't want to risk killing felhunters with magic damage...or can't... your second best shot is to kill the hunter; that's easier said than done, but if you can draw the team out into the open and get a nice cc train on that hunter to keep him out, he's going to blow up pretty quick. Dispelling fears and using your deathcoil wisely is critical here for your warlock, as well as getting well timed shatter combos for your mage. Roots, cyclones on the warlock (and even on the hunter to try to immune heals) will give you an advantage in either case, and you can always try to blow up the druid if all else fails. Note that your comp is the underdog in this matchup, and you may want to consider switching in a warrior for your mage, if possible.
