Strategies News

02.19.2008 - We added yet another feature to the Strategies section. You may now claim your name as well as edit your previous entries, if you enter a password at the time of entry. However, all entries entered before today will still not be editable. There will also be a contest for the Strategies section coming soon, so stay tuned.

01.23.2008 - For entries that are not in the Strategies yet, you can now Request the Strategy at the forums, you can find the page here: http://www.pvpsource.com/bbs/viewforum.php?f=7

01.20.2008 - Now you can search for "All" under search, this option will allow you to use a more "open-ended" approach towards finding matchup combinations in the Strategies.

For example: You can search for Rogue, Priest Vs. All All under 2v2 and find strategies with all types of opponents.

Pagination has been also been added to the search results page.

For our readers who've asked for it on the forums, we've included a sort filter, where you can sort your searches by either "Recently Added" entries or by "Highest Ranked" entries.

Strategies Info

Here's a brief overview of our new Strategies section designed to provide strategies on 1v1 duels and 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 Arena matchups.

Search Feature
To the left is the Search Tools where you may search for any lineup combination vs another lineup combination. Simply select the class for your team and the opposing team from the dropdown menu and click Search. Note that "Player" are players on your team while "Versus" are players on the opposing team.

Voting System
This will govern the ranking order of strategies appearing under each lineup vs lineup. Click on thumb up or thumb down icons to cast your votes. Don't forget to vote for your favored strategies!

Submit Feature
On top of every Strategies page will be a link for submiting your own strategies. Choose the approperiate category then select the lineups from the dropdowns. After entering the complete strategy, under "Strategy:" simply click "Submit Strategy" to submit.
