News: Patch 8820 for Beta Updates

There are several interesting changes and additions in this recently release patch for the beta, including talent changes for most and some honor piece stats released.

Honor Piece Stats

Druid
Skills
Feral

* Ferocious Bite damage slightly increased.
* Swipe now hits 4 targets.
* Savage Roar now increases attack power 40% and lasts 14/19/24/29/34 sec depending on how many combo points you have up. (Previously 35% attack power and 9/12/15/18/21 sec)

Talents
Balance

* Celestial Focus (Tier 4) reduces the casting time lost when damaged by 25/50/70% when casting wrath. (Previously reduced interrupt chance)
* Control of Nature (Tier 2) reduces casting time lost when damaged by 40/70/100% while casting Entangling Roots and Cyclone. (Previously reduced interrupt chance)

Hunter

Skills
Beast Mastery

* Kill Command is now 1 rank. Cooldown reduced to 1 min.
* Aspect of the Beast increases attack power of your pet as well as yours now.

Marksmanship

* Kill Shot now “causes a strong recoil, causing you to be knocked down after the attack.” Cooldown increased from 6 sec to 35 sec.
* Trueshot Aura affects the whole raid now.
* Serpent Sting damage is now affected by 20% of your Ranged Attack Power instead of 10%.
* Steady Shot casting time increased from 1.5 sec to 2 sec.
* Distracting shot only has 1 rank now. Distracts the target to attack you, but has no effect if the target is already attacking you. Lasts 6 sec. (Changed to a “Mocking Blow” type of effect)

Survival

* Wyvern Sting (All ranks) now does its full damage in 6 sec. (Previously did it in 12 sec)
* Bear Trap removed.
* Disengage now leaps the Hunter backwards up to 13 yards. 30 second cooldown. Disengage now also only has one rank (rank 1).

Talents
Beast Mastery

* Aspect Mastery moved from tier 10 to tier 3. Only 1 rank now. Increases the mana returned from your Aspect of the Viper by 10%, reduces the damage done to you while in Aspect of the Monkey by 10% and increases the attack power bonus gained with Aspect of the Hawk by 50%. (Has a Place holder note)
* Animal Handler (Tier 6) is noted as NYI and Increaes your pet’s chance to hit by 2/4%, and reduces the cooldown of your Master’s Call ability by 5/10 sec. (Removed the mounted speed increase)
* Spirit Bond (Tier 5) now increases healing the hunter receives by 10/20% in addition to its previous effect.
* Pathfinding (Tier 3) increases mounted speed by 5/10% in addition to its previous effect.
* Focused Fire (Tier 2) changed - All damage caused by you is increased by 1/2% while your pet is active and the critical strike chance of your pet’s special abilities by 10/20% while Kill Command is active.
* Seperation Anxiety (Tier 10) now noted as NYI (Not yet Implemented)

Marksmanship

* Chimera Shot (Tier 11) changed. You deal 125% weapon damage, refreshing the current Sting on your target and triggering an effect: Serpent Sting - Instantly deals 40% of the damage done by your Serpent Sting. Viper Sting - Instantly restores mana to you equal to 60% of the total amount drained by your Viper Sting. Scorpid Sting - Attempts to Disarm the target for 10 sec. This effect cannot occur more than once per 1 minute.
* Marked for Death (Tier 10) now increases your pets damage done to marked targets as well as yours by 2/4/6/8/10%. Also increases critical strike damage of Aimed, Steady, Kill, and Chimera Shot by 2/4/6/8/10%. (Previously didn’t affect chimera shot and only increased damage by 1/2/3/4/5%)
* Improved Steady Shot (Tier 9) Now notes NYI. It does not affect Kill Shot anymore, instead, it affects Chimera Shot.
* Rapid Recuperation (Tier 8 ) changed. Reduces the mana and focus cost of all shots and abilities by you and your pet by 20/40/60% while under the effect of Rapid Fire, and you gain mana equal to 50/100/150% of the damage you do under the effect of Rapid Killing over 6 sec.
* Improved Stings (Tier 4) reduced to 3 ranks and is now 10/20/30%.

Survival

* Explosive Shot (Tier 11) revamped - Now fire an explosive charge into the target, dealing [ 20% of RAP + 345 ] Fire damage to the enemy target, and an additional [ 5% of RAP + 86.25 ] Fire damage to all enemies within 5 yards of the target every second for 2 sec.
* Hunting Party (Tier 10) now procs off of Arcane, Steady, and Explosive Shot critical strikes now. There is no cooldown on the effect now.
* Readiness (Tier 9) cooldown reduced to 3 min.
* Potent Venom renamed Noxious Stings (Tier 8 ) and is noted as NYI. If Wyvern Sting is dispelled, the dispeller is also afflicted by Wyvern Sting lasting 16/25/50% of the duration remaining, and increases all damage done by you on targets afflicted by your Serpent Sting by 1/2/3%.
* Survival Instincts moved from Tier 5 to Tier 2.
* Trap Mastery moved from Tier 4 to Tier 3 and reduces chance enemies will resist your trap by 5%.
* Surefooted (Tier 4) reduces the duration of movement impairing effects by 16/25/50%. (Previously 10/20/30%)
* Improved Feign Death renamed to Survival tactics and moved from Tier 4 to Tier 3. It now reduces the cooldown of your disengage by 2/4 sec. Damage reduction while feign death removed.
* Clever Traps (Tier 3) removed.
* Survivalist (Tier 3) increases Stamina by 2/4/6/8/10%. (Previously increased total health)
* Deterrence (Tier 3) removed. (Becoming a base skill?)
* Deflection moved to Tier 3. 3 point talent now. Increases your chance to parry by 1/2/3, and reduces the duration of all Disarm effects used against you by 16/25/50%. This does not stack with other Disarm duration reducing effects.
* Improved Tracking (Tier 1) is now implemented.
* Lock and Load (Tier 4) increased to 10/20/30% chance to proc when you sting a target. (Previously was 5/10/15%)

Paladin

Skills
Holy

* Concentration Aura changed = All party or raid members within 30 yards lose 35% less casting or channeling time when damaged.

Retribution

* Seal of Corruption, Holy Vengeance, Judgement of Vengeance, and Seal of vengeance all changed from 18 sec to 15 sec.

Talents
Retribution

* Vengeance (Tier 6) stacks up to 2 times now. (Previously 3)

Priest

Shadow

* Improved Shadowform (Tier 8 ) changed to - reduces casting or channeling time lost when damaged by 35% when casting any Shadow spell while in Shadowform. (Previously reduced chance to get interrupted by 35%)

Rogue
Skills
Combat

* Gouge does not award a combo point anymore.

Talents
Combat

* Mace Specialization (Tier 5) chance to stun removed. Increases critical strike damage bonus with maces by 2/4/6/8/10%.

Shaman

Restoration

* Earth Shield (Tier 9) now reduces casting or channeling time lost when damaged by 30%. (Previously 30% chance to ignore spell interruption.

Warrior
Skills
Arms

* Thunderclap cooldown increased from 4 seconds to 6 seconds.

Protection

* Shield Wall damage reduction increased from 50% to 60%.
* Shield Block now Increases your chance to block and block value by 100% for 5 sec. Cooldown changed from 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Talents
Arms

* Bladestorm now lasts 6 seconds instead of 4.5 seconds.
* Strength of Arms moved from tier 10 to tier 8. Changed to a 2 point talent and now increases your total strength and total health by 2/4% (was 1/2/3/4/5%)
* New talent - Wrecking Crew (Tier 10) - Your melee critical hits have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to Enrage you, increasing all damage caused by 3% for 12 sec.
* Blood Frenzy now makes your Rend and Deep Wounds abilities also increase all physical damage caused to that target by 1/2%. (was 2/4/%)
* New talent - Bull rush (Tier 9) - Increases the duration of the Stun effect of your Charge and Intercept abilities by 0.4/0.7/1 seconds.
* Improved Mortal Strike now increases the damage caused by your Mortal Strike ability by 2/4/6/8/10% and gives your Enraged Assault ability a 6/12/18/24/30% chance to refresh the cooldown of Mortal Strike.
* Trauma has been moved from tier 8 to tier 9.
* Unrelenting assault now reduces the cooldown of your Overpower and Revenge by 2/4 seconds. (was 1/2 seconds)
* Mace specialization changed, it now gives your melee attacks a chance to generate 10 rage when using a Mace.
* Improved charge now increases the amount of rage generated by your charge ability by 5/10 (was 3/6).
* Bloodletting has been renamed to Improved Rend once again, and doesn’t affect Bloodbath anymore.
* Improved Slam (Tier 7) has been moved to the Arms tree.
* New talent - Taste for Blood (Tier 4) - Whenever your Rend ability causes damage, you have a 10/20/30% chance of allowing the use of your Overpower ability for 5 secs.
* New talent - Justified Killing (Tier 4) - You gain 6 rage every time you parry an attack.

Fury

* Heroic Leap moved from Tier 11 to Tier 9.
* Titan’s Grip moved from Tier 10 to Tier 11. It is now 1 rank and Allows you to equip two-handed axes, maces and swords in one hand. No speed penalty anymore.
* Furious Resolve (Tier 9) removed.
* New Talent - Furious Attacks (Tier 8 ) - Your normal melee attacks have a 50/100% chance to reduce all healing done to the target by 25% for 8 sec. This can stack up to 2 times.
* Rampage (Tier 9) completely changed: Your melee critical hits cause you to go on a rampage, increasing melee critical hit chance of all party and raid members within 20 yds by 5%. Lasts 10 sec.
* Intensify Rage moved to Tier 5 and completely changed: Reduces the cooldown of your Bloodrage, Berserker Rage, Recklessness and Deathwish abilities by 11/22/33%.
* Improved Slam (Tier 5) Moved to arms.
* Death Wish is (Tier 5) now flagged as an Enrage.
* Enrage (Tier 4) now gives you 3/6/9/12/15% increased damage after being the victim of a critical strike. It now works on all attacks for 12 sec. (Previously 5/10/15/20/25% and lasted for 12 swings)
* New talent - Unending Fury (Tier 10) - Reduces the rage cost of your Cleave, Whirlwind and Bloodthirst abilities by 1 and gives your Enraged Assault ability a 6/12/18/24/30% chance to refresh the cooldown of Bloodthirst.

Protection

* Stalwart Protector (Tier 8 ) has been removed.
* Shield Mastery (Tier 6) Changed to increase block value by 10/20/30%.
* Improved Sunder Armor (Tier 4) renamed to Puncture.
* Improved Shield Block (Tier 3) Reduces the cooldown of Shield Block by 10/20 sec. (Previously 5/10 sec)

Deathknight
Skills
Blood

* Pestilence no longer causes additional threat.
* Strangulate is no longer modified by attack power.
* Blood Boil no longer consumes diseases and no longer forces the target to attack the Death Knight for 3 seconds.
* Blood Presence now heals the Death Knight by 2% of the damage dealt, down from 4%.

Frost

* Icy Touch damage slightly increased.
* Chains of Ice no longer chains the target in place for 3 seconds, but instead reduces movement to zero, after which the target regains 5% of their movement each second. Lasts 20 seconds.

Unholy

* Death Coil now costs 40 runic power, down from 50.
* Death Strike changed to: A deadly attack that deals 60% weapon damage plus x and heals the Death Knight for 100% of the damage done for each of his or her diseases on the target or if the Death Strike kills the target. (Damage slightly increased, and now also heals if Death Strike kills the target)
* Unholy Presence changed to: Infuses the death knight with unholy fury, increasing attack speed by 15%, movement speed by 15% and reducing the global cooldown on all abilities by 0.5 sec. Only one Presence may be active at a time. (Instead of changing movement speed by 35 to 49%)
* Death Gate had its 15 minute cooldown removed.

Talents
Blood

* Blood Rune Mastery (Tier 6) has been removed.
* Bloodworms (Tier 7) now only have a 3/6/9% (was 4/8/12%) chance to spawn of your weapon hits.
* Blood Aura (Tier 7) changed to: All party or raid members within 45 yards of the Death Knight are healed by 1/2% of the damage they deal. (Instead of healing raid members for 50/100% of the amount that spells healed the Deathknight for)
* Vampiric blood (Tier 8 ) now had a 1 minute cooldown, down from 2.
* Might of Mograine (Tier 9) now increases the critical strike damage of your Blood strike, Hearth Strike and Blood Boil by 20/40/60%, instead of Blood strike, Hearth Strike and Obliterate by 20/40/60%.
* Heart Strike (Tier 9) damage slightly decreased and is now only affected by the Death Knight’s own diseases.
* Dancing Rune weapon (Tier 11) now has a 2 minute cooldown, up from one minute.

Frost

* Black Ice (Tier 2) now increases your Frost and Shadow damage by 3/6/9/12/15% instead of Frost and Shadow spell damage.
* Lichborne now (Tier 3) lets you become undead for 15 seconds, up from 10, and has a 3 minute cooldown, up from 1.
* Runic Power Mastery (Tier 4) now increases your maximum Runic Power by 10/20/30, instead of its previous effect.
* Chill of the Grave (Tier 5) now allows your Icy Touch, chain of Ice and Howling Blasts to generate 50/100% additional runic power, up from 25/50%.
* Merciless Combat (Tier 6) now causes your Icy Touch, Howling Blast, Obliterate and Frost strike to deal 30/60% more damage against targets below 35% health, instead of 20% health.
* Frost Rune Mastery(Tier 6) replaced by Rime, which increases damage by your Icy Touch and Howling Blast by 15%.
* Endless Winter (Tier 7) now reduces the cost of your Mind Freeze by 10 runic power, down from 20.
* Frost Aura (Tier 7) no longer decreases spell damage done by 2/4% but now gives raid members within 45 yards 0 spell resistance. (?)
* Howling Blast (Tier 7) now has a 10 second cooldown, down from 30.
* Unbreakable Armor (Tier 8 ) now also increases your total strength by 10% and has a 1 minute cooldown, down from 2.
* Guile of Gorefiend (Tier 9) now increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Blood Strike, Obliterate, Rune Strike and Frost Strike by 15/30/45% for 2/4/6 seconds. (Previously did not include Rune Strike)
* Frost Strike (Tier 9) now costs 40 runic power, down from 50.
* Hungering Cold (Tier 11) now costs 60 runic power, up from 20, no longer unleashes all available runic power, and makes the target unable to perform any action for 10 seconds, instead of 1 second per 5 runic power.

Unholy

* Unholy Command (Tier 2) changed to: Reduces the cooldown of your Death Grip ability by 5 seconds and the cooldown of your Demand ability by 1/2 sec. (Previously reduced the cooldown of your bloodboil by 2/4 seconds)
* Corpse Explosion (Tier 3) now does shadow damage, and is no longer modified by attack power.
* Summon Gargoyle (Tier 5) now has a 3 minute cooldown, down from 5.
* Unholy Rune Mastery (Tier 6) replaced by Reaping which causes a 30/60/100% chance to change all three runes into Death Runes upon activation when the Death Knight uses Death and Decay.
* Unholy Aura (Tier 7) changed to: All party or raid members within 45 yards of the Death Knight move 8/15% faster. This effect does not stack with other movement improving effects. (Previously increased movement speed by 5/10%; which stacked, and increased your Shadow Resistance by 32/64)
* Bone shield (Tier 8 ) now has a 1 minute cooldown, up from 30 seconds.
* Night of the Dead (Tier 8 ) changed to: Your next 10 Plague Strikes and Scourge Strikes lower the cooldown of Raise Dead by 15/30 seconds and Army of dead by 30/60 seconds per strike.
* Wandering Plague (Tier 9)changed to: When your diseases damage an enemy, there is a chance equal to your melee critical strike chance that they will cause 33/66/100% additional damage to the target and all enemies within 8 yards. Ignores any target under the effect of a spell that is cancelled by taking damage. (Previously had a 10/20/30% chance that your diseases would also damage all enemies within 8 yards)
* Unholy Blight (Tier 11) no longer consumes 5 runic power per second, but automatically last 20 seconds. Cost increased to 60 runic power, up from 50.
