General: PvP Source Beta 3 is here!
February 19th, 2008 by Ziss ·

This time, it’s a little hard to summarize with just few screen shots. We had this new layout in the works for over a month and it was finally completed last night! Design credit all goes to Snitchers from EU-Neptulon (Ripsaw on EU-Defias Brotherhood). Many thanks to his hard work and contribution!

We also added yet another feature to the Matrix Strategies section. You may now claim your name as well as edit your previous entries, if you enter a password at the time of entry. However, all entries entered before today will still not be editable. There will also be a contest for the Matrix Strategies section coming soon, so stay tuned.

As always, we appreciate very much if everyone can report any bugs or mistakes they spot on the site. So please do not hesitate if you see something out of place and toss us a post over at Suggestions and Feedback!

Been a real pleasure working with Zissling on this project. \o

I love the logo and background but personally I think the old layout was better overall.

Nothing really jumps out at me, all the headings blend into that font that you tend to ignore. Its hard to explain but I seriosly love the logo.

I would like you to keep this site clean and simple.
What’s with the ads placed all over and the clustered navigation?
I’m neither arabic nor chinese. I like to read from top left to down right.
You’ve got a navigation header with dropdowns (well not anymore) to lookup everything.
I do not need another box telling me how to find strategies.
I do not need an overview of the latest forum posts. I’d go to the forums for that.
I do not need Featured video and More videos separated. Order it chronologically.
The poll could be nice if you use better questions. What to do if I visit pvpsource for Strategies und Articles?

Last but not least the loading times go up and up the more confusing bling bling is added.
    So again: Keep it simple.

Absolutely gorgeous. People dislike change, but looking at it subjectively from a design standpoint this is a much better. Keep up the great work.

  6. Dael Says:

I really like the last design. This one seems cluttered to me.
