Couple of rogue bugs finally got some blue acknowledgment today. First, is the annoying stealth bug that people have been spamming the Bug Report forums about:

“I’d like to inform everyone that the issue with Stealth and Vanish breaking 5 seconds after sapping or breaking stealth has been identified and a fix is being worked on.” -Hortus

Second, is a not-so-annoying (if you’re a rogue) cheat death bug:

“I’ve looked into this issue. In order to assure that that a worse bug (which caused cheat death to not work at all) did not occur under specific timing circumstances Cheat Death will sometimes reduce damage by 99% instead of 90%.

Although technically this is a bug, it is not one that we can currently fix.” -Hortus

I’m sure you guys are all know what it means when your updater fires up on Tuesday… a new patch. This week it’s the very minor 2.3.3 with no PvP related changes. Most notable item in this patch? Blizzard borging the Windows Media Player fix — and that it clears the way for 2.4 and yet more promised class tweaks.

Last week, the European guild/arena team Knockout has migrated to Stormscale, Cyclone Battlegroup. With the help from SK Gaming, they hosted an invitational 5v5 arena tournament that not many from NA realms knew about (Maybe it’s because no prize was mentioned for the tournament?). But with the announcement of this tournament, Cyclone will definitely become the new BG9 (Bloodlust - US) for Europeans. Especially with all the top teams transferring over to seek new PvP challenges.

01.20.2008 - Now you can search for “All” under search, this option will allow you to use a more “open-ended” approach towards finding match-up combinations in the matrix.

For example: You can search for Rogue & Priest VS. All & All under 2v2 and find strategies with all types of opponents.
