News: BlizzCast Incoming; New Home for World Arena Rankings
December 26th, 2007 by Magog ·

blizzard logoKicking off 2008, Blizzard is attempting to start off the New Year right by getting in touch with the community with it’s first ever BlizzCast. Airing sometime during the first week of January, the video podcast will be focused on Starcraft 2 and WotLK news and feature a lot of fan/developer interaction.

This first episode will include an interview with Tigole with more details about Sunwell and 2.4. CM’s Nethaera and Karune (SC2 CM) will also be present doing their CM/liaison thing between the devs and the fans. They also have plans for fan-submitted questions to appear on the show, so let’s make sure to get our PvP voices heard (when that option is available).

New Home for World Arena Rankings
The interactive world arena rankings that was formerly at geekboys.org (or geeksquad, as Breaky calls it) has now been moved to SK Gaming’s site: ‘Besides providing ranking over countries and realms, it also feature quick stats for teams, their main lineup, classes, races, win ratio, current build and more.’

If you have old links, it should redirect to the new location — if not, here’s the direct link.

That new site is really nice. I hope they release a lot of information about 2.4 in the podcast as well as expansion stuff.

US - Bladefist server is missing completely from the search function. I haven’t checked other servers but it does make one wonder how accurate the data is.
