Just a couple items for the weekend… it’s been a slow back of the week for PvP news.

We’ve all seen pictures on the new 1-35 yd range on the hunter tooltips from this latest build on the PTR. After further testing by the community on the PTR (see this thread), it looks like there might actually be a bug with the wording on the hunter tooltips.

Contrary to what the tooltip says, for most mobs, shooting a ranged weapon while in melee range (~1-5 yds) is still not possible. There are a few mobs with larger hitboxes where it is possible to have both attacks available, but it looks like the mechanic in place is still as Blizzard described:

<- melee, ~0-5 yds -><- fuzzy area (< 1 yd) -><- range attack, 5-35 yds ->

We’re still waiting on blue to comment on the 1-35 tooltips on the PTR.

Last couple of bits:

- Mage 4-pc Gladiator bonus has been changed and now reduces the cooldown of Blink by 2 seconds.

- S1 pieces are now on the honor vendor on the PTR. Here are the prices.

   How about the S1 armor pieces? Do you know the prices for the new bracers/belt/boots and the vindicator’s ring/necklace?

   A blue posted that it was indeed a tooltip error, and that Hunter shooting funtionality was still sloppy on the PTR; they are working on it. I dont have a link, but it was in the Hunter forums.
